FHA Loans
Government-insured financing with 3.5% down and flexible credit guidelines.
What are FHA Loans?
FHA loans are an attractive option, especially for first-time homeowners, because the loan is insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). The federal government insures loans for FHA-approved lenders in order to reduce their risk of loss if a borrower defaults on their mortgage payments. Typically the borrower can be approved with 3.5% down versus the 20% that other loan programs may require.
A good fit if you are
- First-time buyers and buyers with limited savings
- Credit profiles that need more flexibility than conventional guidelines allow
- Buyers who qualify for our FHA Buyer's Choice Down Payment Assistance
- Higher debt-to-income ratios with compensating factors
